Hispanic Heritage Month

National Hispanic Heritage Month started in 1968 under president Lyndon Johnson and was expanded by president Ronald Regan in 1988. This month starts September 15 to Octomber 15th. The reason this month is special is because its the anniversary of independence for Latin American countries.
